May be ppl who posted here were just UNLUCKY.
I had such an unlucky experience when I went with my then bride-to-be friend to Lisange. We tried to show them that the size that they had in the store (way too big) didn't fit my friend. And they had to order another one that fits as promised. (they promised to order a new one at the very beginning of the negotiation and that's a major reason that my friend decided to use Lisange.)
But why does a customer have to make such effort and had such experience of negotiation to just make Lisange do what they have promised at the beginning of the "deal".

no matter mr.cow experience is real or not, the reason why people are posting here is to share their experience. i am also surprised by the number of ppl complaining about Lisange. I thought i am the only one who doesnt like Lisange.
I personally heard a lot of bad experience with Lisange before (not from LYK..from the mouth of my fellow frds), and I was alert on going to this store to take my pre-wedding photos. I won't 抹黑 the taiwanese styles as I PERSONALLY love this style. but the fact is that Lisange is not Taiwanese style OK? I went to many bridal stores to check on their price and their photo samples...well..u can say i am a picky and perfectionist person (every brides want to have the best photos for their special DAY).. I don't find their photos or albums appealing at ALL. Their gowns are not Taiwanese style either.. most are western styles which I couldnt find any that I like.
I guess this is "what u get is what u paid" la.. so I ended up going back to Taiwan and took my TAIWANESE style photos last yr. Couple months ago..I was told by my hubby's bro to go to Lisange to rent the gowns for my wedding day (as i took my pre-wedding photos in TW, i have to rent the gowns in Van myself).. my hubby's bro took their pre-wedding + wedding day photo @ Lisange and they got a really good deal..(coz they bargained hard)...and ask me and my hubby to go see it.. even though I personally don't like the Lisange's style.. I still went there to check it out becoz of my tight budget...but I end up didnt book it becoz of the following reasons:
a) their seafood price
- diff price each time when asked
b) the price of the gowns
- not worth it...$350 to rent their plain wedding dress..no way!
c) the size
- i'm still upset that she is asking me to try on a size 6 or 8 when I am a size 0. Most of the gowns in their store are big in size...
Lisange just want to earn your money..they are not helping you from the heart! This is the MAIN reason i didnt choose Lisange.. they care about ur wallet more than the outcome for your wedding.. I guess operating a business is required to be a blood sucker...but then.. you will ruin a bride's wedding.... say something REAL from your heart..
I am not good at taking photos..as I am not a photographer..but then I still have some sense on what is NICE PHOTOs. Feel free to go to Lisange to look at their samples.. I dun mind.. but remember also go to another Taiwanese style bridal store "紅X" to compare the style... the pics.. the gowns.. then u will understand what I mean gar la. of coz their price will be much higher than Lisange.
We are not just talking about the photos. We are talking about the service and the attitude of the store.
Also the trouble of needing to talk and fight for something that's already been promised.
I guess we are too "canadian", we tho what is promised should be done automatically.
This store acts like they are a stall on the roadside.... so customers need to bargain bargain and fight ...
There are many many many things to prepare for a wedding.. and most of the brides will listen and follow the wedding store's professional advice...coz they want someone to share their burdens.. and choose something that fit the bride and groom the most! Not to create problems.. or try to get the money from them. Pls don't take advantage of the couples who don't want to waste their valuable time to debate/argue/ or bargain again! There are tons of stuff to do to prepare a wedding!! If the store didn't put their true heart to their customers.. only want to squeeze the money from the couple.. I would not recommend this store!
