I look up their website in the morning, and go there when they open at 9:00 am.
I'm frugal, and expect they honour their advertisement, after all, why spending
big money advertising if they cannot keep up the demand for 5-10 minutes?
Now, TnT's scheme for Mid Week special was that those fishes on sale they would not cut and clean for you. In another word, they think they save the labor for the low price.
i think with the online stores. they have it written in their disclaimers that they cant be responsible for any "mistakes" that they make on the sites...
i remember i once bought a few computers off future shop's website cuz it was on sale for around $100 when it's worth more like 500-600... but yeah they canceled my order at the end
Ads are made months ahead of time, therefore mistakes happen. Businesses are already struggling to to survive.. obviously they will protect themselves first.

if ads are made months ahead of time, why there is no time for adjustment?

Depends on the merchant, but most ads are made at least a month ahead, that will give the merchant time to revise the ad for typos, stock the products and print the ads. The time to turnaround printed ads is not overnight, it could be weeks. Since we can't foresee the future, if mistakes are made, it would be too late and too costly to reprint them. Therefore the merchants will need to print retractions in major newspapers and stores to address the problem.
It would make sense to correct them if the merchant does everything in-house, but many of these functions are outsourced, it is just impossible to co-ordinate in a short period of time. In Canada, there are only handful of companies that does ads for major retailers, so you can imagine how "busy" they could be.
