[Pls help] Renting a car

Hi,

If i need to use a car for only 5 to 6 months, should i go to Budget rent-a-car and similar stores.

Or is there another better way to do this? thanks!

i thought about that, but safety and maintenance are what i concern.

renting a car from budget for 6 months will cost u couple thousands...not worth it...

if u can find a decent used car, maybe u dun have to lose that much; even after maintenance and repair

get sth like a honda civic / toyota corolla...

Buy a 2-3 year old second hand car. I doubt you will loss much after 6 months.

i suggest that u go get a 7-9 yrs old (-ish) car la
only cost a few 1000s and still has some resell value

我有架98 accord 賣噃！full load 咩都有。七千個大洋！如果以六個月嚟計，一定平過租車。而且六個月之後仲可以賣埋佢添，咁又慳唔少。諗諗佢，有問題隨便pm 我啦。

when u buy an used car, make sure u know for that 5 to 6 months how many km u are going to drive

u probably dun wanna spend too much money onto things like new tires?!

i will probably get all the fluid done + a tune up and make it presentable when u are going to sell it; better dun get sth that the timing belt service is almost due...
