I think what costco recommends is correct. If you purchase only a pair of tires, they will only install in the back for safety reason, even if you are planning to replace front tires. I have also read publication from Michelin, the tire manufacturer also recommend putting tire with more treads in the back.

Seriously, if Costco recommends you to put at the back, there must be a reason... it's not cheap cheap china town tire shop.

thanks for all opinions. i finally bought 4 new tires at costco in canada. however, next time (may be a few years later) i will buy and install new tires at costco in the US. it should be 30-40% less than here.and those can be rotated , balanced ,inflated with nitrogen every 10,000km for free in any costco in US and CAN.

Toyo冇乜tire好買, 佢當年既T1S一流, 反而家陣既T1R我覺得冇咁好...RA1又唔錯, 不過都係跑軑..
