•Police look for witnesses in a fatal hit and run
ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) - A 27-year-old man has been arrested, in connection with a deadly hit and run in Abbotsford Thursday night.  Kenneth Howarth turned himself into police last night.  He is expected in court next month.

He is charged with one count of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Although police have made an arrest they are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.  An 80-year-old man, Bachan Singh Gill, was hit and killed near Old Yale and Townline Roads.

Investigators are still interested in speaking with a woman, believed to be from Alberta, who called police about erratic driving in the area at the time of the crash.  When she phoned police she was roughly one kilometre from the area of the crash.
