pretty decent European equipment, what do you not like about it?

Bass, depth, imaging.... I'm sure it's 99% cuz of my poor placement and untreated room acoustics.... it's like the more I tweak it the worst it gets......

Too much Bass? Not enough bass?  Bass is just fat and fuzzy?

if you pull the speakers from the back/side walls, the amt of bass reduces and become "leaner" and  cleaner, which might or might not be what you want.  But depth and image improves.  Try 1.5 ft from sidewall and 3 ft from back wall.

if your room is too much of a cube then you have standing wave issues.  only room tuning material will help.
