NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's the happiest place on Earth -- or at least, in Metro Vancouver.  According to the latest report on the Lower Mainland's livability and vitality, the North Shore tops the region in satisfaction.  The entire region scored high.

The 2010 Vital Signs Report from the Vancouver Foundation looked at key indicators of livability, including the economy, affordability, safety, belonging and wellness.  Considering those factors, close to,  nine in ten people said 'Life is good or excellent.  This is a vibrant, lively and appealing place to live.'

The physical beauty and climate topped the list and the survey also found a strong sense of belonging across Metro Vancouver, much higher than Toronto or Montreal.

The sense of belonging was strongest in Delta and Richmond, but it is the North Shore that's one of the happiest places in Metro Vancouver when it comes to quality of life.  However, we are paying for all this vibrant livability, the Lower Mainland scored low for housing, affordability, and getting around -- the price we're willing to pay for paradise.

so, loyaukee in northshore, are you guys happy at all?
