3漁政船 赴釣島巡航

中國漁政局透露，中國東海區漁政局漁政202號船與黃渤海區漁政局漁政118號船兩艘千噸級公務船，及江蘇省漁政總隊一艘500噸級公務船，已於10月14日下午出發前往釣魚島巡航。

農業部漁政指揮中心副主任居禮指出，赴釣魚島海域巡航護漁，既是維護國家主權，又是保護中國漁民的合法權益，是一項光榮而艱巨的任務。

圖為中國漁政118船，曾連續數年參加北太平洋國際漁業執法聯合巡航。

The chunk of land matters because it is the land that defines how far your coastal economic zones are.

of course i know it's the rock that defines the coastal econ. zones.  But the issue is that even if the rock sinks right now (???), the Japanese won't scale back the boundaries!
