Just like 100D and 550D now ..  quite big different ga ..

Canon thing .. yes, you can say they don't have some "COOL NEW" feature as Sony or Pentax ..  However, even only $3xx diff..  u should see a lots of diff ..

Say from handgrip, body seal, AF (not sure that part), flash control, (I am surprised 600D has remote feature), LCD, bigger iso range, tilt screen, full HD, hand grip .. etc etc ..

Even I always sa $ few hundred bucks different on body, doesn't matter .. however, just look at how many people are buying DSLR kit as gift nowadays!  Some may have $500 budget (D3000/100D) some may hv $700 (D3100/1100D) and most of them, just look at N and C .. (even how hard I suggest Oly/Pana/Sony/Pent ..

99% people don't need anything more then 10mp ..  however, 90% buyers do WANT more MP ..

I can hardly tell the different between my 40D/50D/60D .. rather then slightly better WB and more vivid colour .. (jpeg)

If you look at sony .. then some always 99% same camera .. but in different price range ..

Nex3/5  A33/55 A580/560  A300/350 ...

However, more pixels in the same size photo sensor ( i.e. higher pixel density) does not mean
better performance, and usually means more noise.

If you shoot at base iso with very good light, you should be able to fill up the extra pixels with little noise, so in that case more pixels can be better.

But of course, whether you actually care or need those pixels is a separate issue.  And in Vancouver, how often do you shoot at base iso anyway.

The $30,000 Titanium M9 was snatched up in less than half an hour.  Looks like it will appreciate quite a bit.
