Shooting in Surrey
Police are calling it a targeted hit

0 SURREY (NEWS1130) - A man in his 20's was shot near 119th Street and 99th Avenue in Surrey around five o'clock this afternoon.
A Mountie happened to be driving nearby and saw two men carrying the victim. He stopped to find out what was going on. It turned out the man was shot just 10 minutes earlier. He is now in hospital. There is no word on his condition.
It's not clear if he is known to police or if any arrests have been made. But police say the shooting was targetted, and the shot may have been fired from inside a black truck that's believed to have travelled down Scott Road shortly after the shooting.
