Long weekend strong loonie = massive border waits
Expect long waits for BC Ferries as well

0 LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) - It's the start of the Easter long weekend, and the loonie is soaring over the US dollar. That means a lot of people will head for the border.
As of 8 a.m., the wait was at least two hours southbound at Peace Arch and Pacific Highway, and at least an hour at the Sumas-Huntington and Aldergrove border crossings.
