Homemade bread  should be kept in paper bag at room temperature for up to 2 days.
bread in fridge get stale quicker.
Commercial bread loaded with preservative can be kept for up to weeks,
thus the term "Wonder Bread"Artisan bread?  too expensive for daily consumption.
Urban Fare have  Poilane  bread frown in from Paris, $100 a loaf

I left it at room temp up to 3 days. Then fridge or freezer.
I like/get Artisan bread whenever possible. They are not super expensive at farmers market. ($4-5 a big loaf) Those are more filling than those fluffy wonder bread thing..
Never a bit fan on fluffy bread.
