There is nothing close to ok if you are looking for Chinese food.
When I was in Vic, I usually go to Tapa Bar for dinner (western?). I like the environment there. I go to Coast Habor lounge for their dessert platter. I go to a restaurant close to the keg downtown (Vic), I can't remember their name but I go there to eat 噩魚 meat, it's one block away from the keg. Their food is awesome. Oak Bay Marina for the ocean view. oppsi, i was going to mention guru...but the owner was murdered so I don't think the restaurant still open anymore....
For casual dine out, try Cook Street village. Go to Roxy Diner, they originally sell fish and chip and I love their food. The restaurant is nicely decorate, you will be surrounded by Betty boo I always order their pan fried oyster and white cream sauce pasta. If you want to try Thai food, there is a very small Thai restaurant at the entrance of Cook Street Village. You will easily miss it since it's very small and low profile. If you park your car somewhere close to the car dealer ship, walk a few min, you will find it. Their curry is very tasty. |
