SURREY (NEWS1130) - A 13-month-old boy likely has a broken leg, along with some bruising, after falling about nine feet from a window in Surrey.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Blair McColl says it happened at a home on 131st Street .
"There's possible a broken leg, certainly some scrapes, bumps, bruises, but there's reason to be optimistic. When the baby left in the ambulance it was crying and alert," he tells News1130.
"Early indications are that there was a young person in the residence holding the baby and something caused the young person to slip and the baby fell, and actually went through the window."
The boy was taken to hospital and is expected to recover
