I've been really busy lately, but it's funny how nobody has posted anything regarding the municipal election even though it's so close.
I personally hate Bike Boy with a vengeance because as a motorist, I have absolutely nothing good to say about his stupid bike lanes. On the other hand, there are more than a few occasions where I've seen the current city councilor and mayoral candidate, Suzanne Anton, make a fool out of herself. There were some better ones I saw before where she was at the Occupy Vancouver site, but I can't seem to find those again at the moment.
This following one isn't as bad, but she was still being completely off base and off topic in a city council meeting:
By comparison, Bike Boy seems a lot calmer and more capable of handling the situation when he is under fire.
I don't like the current Van Mayor because of the Bike Lane.. but NPA people are dumb ass. Who should I vote....
Oh.. but the way, the CHinese candidate "Tang" something is another dumbass. In chinese radio, he said something like "I'm a architect, so, I understand the poor and homeless people ". WTF. if that's the case, the one who should understand the poor and homeless in HK is Lee Ga Sing la. Another dumbass...
Neighborhoods for Sustainable Vancouver's Randy Helton is who I am going to vote for. I have nothing against Grego, except for his pro-development policies. He sides with major developers in Vancouver on a number of occasions, the debate between Grego and Susi is development funded to split the votes. If we continue to vote for these developers-backed candidates, our housing will crash big time....Anton is a right wing nut case, no chance I would vote for her. Her campaign targets Chinese voters, hearing tons of ads on radio, propaganda!
