(1)  With the right softwares, digital can't be too crummy these days. Digital surely beats analogue on 乾淨感.  Whether you like it or not is next issue.
(2)  Viewing scanned film images on monitors and thus concluding superiority of film is nothing more than joking.

Ya, digital is definitely 乾淨, which I hate a lot. So if you then introduce grain and noise in post processing, it becomes artificial.

Maybe my b&w digital processing skill really sucks, but I haven't see many low contrast digital b&w that doesn't suck. Digital b&w looks good with high contrast treatments though.

Agreed that BW digital is weaker in low contrast,  probably due to the lack of d-range.  
小小個人體會 ：Get rid of Photoshop if you are not 搵食。PS 太過工業化,  搵食無得頂，用來玩就唔夠其他Phase 1 之類的好玩。 開個Raw，PS 直頭一塌糊塗。
