[西餐] American Grille 都, groupon, share, 老公

我幾年前已經去過American Grille 架喇, 一見到groupon有佢地個deal, 咁咪買左囉~ 仲9秒9咁去左食添~ 我不嬲都知道呢間野如果唔叫魚就OK架喇, 因為佢個羊架同牛扒都唔錯嘅, that's y 我先買個張groupon 咋嘛~咁去到, 我同我老公都唔想食得咁heavy, 所以, 就決定左叫幾樣野share 黎食囉~ 我地叫左: Sweet & Spicy Chicken Bites, Crispy Crab Spring Rolls, Braised Beef Brisket Sliders 同埋5oz Strip Loin Steak Sandwich 喇~ 當然, 仲有逢食西野都有嘅Bread Basket 啦!

• Bread Basket: 雖然係送嘅, 但D包熱熱地, 仲有D牛油好香濃~ 好正! 如果食西野個陣, 連個包同牛油都唔得, 真係好turn off 架嘛!
• Sweet & Spicy Chicken Bites: 少少甜, 少少辣(應該話只係微辣), 咸咸香香咁囉~ 講得好聽叫fusion, 但實在就係普普通通囉~ 但隔離個堆carrot 野, 就唔掂喇~ 好酸, 但又乾爭爭咁~ 我隊左一條, 個堆野就無"被移動"過喇!
• Crispy Crab Spring Rolls: 佢話個spring rolls 入面有蟹肉同埋芒果, 我就真係食到有蟹肉, 但係就淨係食到蟹肉個texture 囉~ 如果唔係我老公問我: "乜入面唔係應該有芒果架咩?" 我都唔記得入面應該係有芒果嘅! 個味道.. 咸左D啦, 但一點左個D sweet chili dip (即係泰國個D雞醬)之後, 係遮晒D咸味, 不過, 連其他味道都遮晒! 淨係食到雞醬味! 仲有呀, 佢地炸到D春卷燶鬼晒囉!
• Braised Beef Brisket Sliders: 呢個sliders, 我老公一啖咬落去, 就立刻叫:"酸嘅!" 我咪即咬啖囉~ 確實佢地個BBQ sauce 係酸左D! 但都要俾番個credit 佢, 個D牛腩佢地真係整到入口即溶, 真係要用好多時間去煮架! 話時話, 我地因為食唔晒, 所以就pack 左一個slider 返屋企, 我今日叮返來食, OK啵~ 無尋日咁酸, 好味左wor~
• 5oz Strip Loin Steak Sandwich: 叫得呢個, 我都知道一定唔會唔掂架喇! 因為係open face sandwich, 所以, 我就肉還肉食, 包還包食! D肉上面D炸洋蔥, OK啦, 無乜特別, D mushroom, 唔錯啦, 但都係個句, 無乜特別! 個包呢, 索晒D牛肉汁, 幾好味架! 但我肯定個包唔係佢地自己整囉~ 而舊扒呢, 無令我失望, 但正如我之前所講, 呢間野個牛扒都OK嘅~

我有個朋友就成日話到呢間野好正, D扒好過CHOP, 仲要,話CHOP個度D扒唔掂, 但呢句說話係由一個唔食牛嘅人講嘅.... 你話我會對佢可以有咩回應呢... 我只可以講, 呢間野真係除左食羊架同牛扒之外, 其他野, 由其係appetizers.. 我無野好講囉! 講真, 如果唔係有groupon, 我一定唔會正價黎呢間食囉! 但CHOP個扒, 確實係好好多! 話晒人家都係一間扒房吖嘛~

I don't agree with this statement at all. Steakhouse does not necessarily give you the best steak.  There are good and bad steakhouse.

For steaks I have been to:
High end

Hy's
Carver
Chop

Mid range

Keg
Moxy
Cactus Club
American Grille
Mandalay

My top place for steak is Mandalay, followed by American Grille.  The steak were cooked properly (exactly medium rare) not burnt, flavorful and juicy.

I have been very displease with  Hy's and Carver, especially for what they charge vs what they offer.

我平時多數去CHOP 同埋Carvers 嘅, 有時就去Richmond 間 The Keg 囉, 但見個deal 咁抵(仲有個friend 嘅高度評價..... ), 咪去呢間囉~ 我以前都食過呢間, 但真係估唔到佢真係只得個羊架同牛扒得架嘛~ 咁大個menu, 得2樣野得, 仲要無乜扒揀, 所以有D失望啫... 或者係我唔好彩, 叫親個D appetizers 都唔係咁掂啦~
個碟非洲嚟嘅春卷, 你估平呀~ 都成$11架! 你覺得我係咪應該對呢間野有expectation 呢?

你沿住Westminster，佢後面有Pay parking 㗎！佢同隔離Sheraton 同一個Parking 㗎！

Just went there tonight. What a freaking experience !!!

We reserved a table today and when we arrived, they said no record of our reservation.

Then we showed the host our called ID that we made this morning, and confirmed someone picked the call and got our name and time.

So, no table and not even an apologize. And I freaking paid $8 for the parking. Lucky we can get it reimburse.

So freaking damn service...
