i saw people saying in the discuss hk forum that doesn't matter where u are u can still do it...well...not 100% sure, but in case lor..有Ｄ人put a flower in front of the name just to pray for them...and support them...

this is what i got from my cousin from hk:

在 msn 暱稱前加彩虹and花，微軟工程師已經證實此  行動會導致電腦中毒 因為 黑客 入侵msn 請把此信 息傳給其他人  
而這個加彩虹活動只適用於中國大陸用戶,,,,香港用戶 不適用

Windows Live Messenger 彩虹行動，送暖到汶川
(5月19日更新) 自「彩虹行動」發起以來，此行動得到極大回響。MSN HK 現號召全港超過 200 萬香港 MSN 用戶，齊心響應「彩虹行動」！每一個香港 MSN 用戶掛上彩虹簽名，MSN HK 將捐出 $0.1 作四川地震賑災之用，請各 MSN 用戶盡力轉告更多朋友，香港「彩虹行動」至5月31日止。

四川汶川縣發生 7.8 級地震，該區及周邊範圍災情嚴重。截稿之前 (5月14日)，死亡人數已經超過一萬二千人，而且倒塌房屋不計其數，無數同胞流離失所。在救援部隊進行拯救的同時，也發生了多次的餘震。MSN 在這裡發起「彩虹行動」，呼籲大家為救援隊伍打氣，亦為當地的災民送上溫暖的祝福。

加入「彩虹行動」的方法十分簡單。

   
Step 1. 拉下你的名字，並點選「選項」。  Step 2. 在「顯示名稱」一欄上，輸入
「(r) 支援汶川」，那就會得到如上圖的效果。
那個 (r) 必須是半型字體。


大家萬眾一心，除了可以加入彩虹行動之餘，更可以實際地捐款幫助當地災民，為受難同胞盡一點力。在香港希望捐款的朋友，可以參考以下的機構：
