They are planning to re-develop it to townhouses.

Richmond developer Townline bought the property at No. 5 Road and Steveston Highway in Richmond last year from the late Tan Yu's company for an undisclosed sum.

Townline president Rick Ilich announced on Tuesday his plans to redevelop the Fantasy Gardens site with a mix of retail and residential development.

So I went there last Saturday, not bad. Lantern is nice. There are quite a few (we walked for 1.5 hours), with some giantic ones.
But the only thing is, the music sux...I 'm NOT a fan of Chinese oldies song...like those "mountain song"..."northern opera" type song... >_<
