(Description from source)This happened one month ago in Poland in city called Siedlce, the victim is still in the hospital fighting for her life. The guy who 'hit 'nd run', received his driving license 2 weeks before this accident. He was caught and is waiting for trial and will most likely spend few years in jail, since she was on the crosswalk and he ran away, instead of helping her (in fact, if he helped her, she wouldn't be ran over by the second car...). The guy who ran over that girl won't be trailed, 'cause, as you can see it wasn't his fault.
My questions:
1. Is this real?
2. Is that a crosswalk? (the scene was too dark to tell)
3. The first car surely has the main responsibility. But even the situation is rainy and dark, shouldn't the second car (driver) see there's a "human-like" thingy on the ground?
One question, when the girl passed the crosswalk, did she have her eyes up or down? because the first car that hit her was obviously NOT about to stop for her, it was as close as to her legs, why did she continued to walk through it?
and......where was the body after the second hit ? I don't see it on the ground.....

The first driver obviously is a bastard that the woman might not be killed if he helped her out.
but why people cross the road without looking? You know what I mean when you are in Chinatown. Are they idiot or what?? Even you are in green light or crosswalk, you have to look to make sure the road is safe.
