did anyone watch the trevor linden jersey retirement ceremony?  i was so touched...will definitely miss him...

2 things i thought were mind-boggling...

1.  his wife seemed annoyed/pissed for the first 20 minutes....as if she didn't wanna be there....anyone else had that feeling?

2.  why was luongo booed??

i didnt watch the ceremony on tv, but i listened part of it on the radio.

linden is a very classy player, well-respected on and off the ice. the canucks is so lucky to have him.

wonder if he will join the canucks management just like stan smyl.

The first one I don't know, it's his family business. Luongo was booed probably due to Canuks sink into 3-4-1 since his gorin injury. The fan expected him to have an iron gorin. Have you heard the jokes on the radio about his gorin injury. It is so mean. But, hell,  he has a very fat pay check, he can take it no problem.

Folks.  It's Lou~ , not Boo.  Every Canucks fan in GM place saluted to ROBERTO LUON"GOD" whenever he made a save.  I wonder how many games you guys have watched LUON"GOD" play.

A very touching moment for him. I was there last night. But I don't really notice his wife annoyed...I guess I don't see as good angle as on TV ...haha

In Canucksville no one will boo the God (in this case Luongo), they just give him the "Luuuu~~~" chant!
As for the other poster who said getting a steel groin with the 6M, trying doing the leg split on a daily basis and then make a comment again.
