my profs(comp. sci.) make around 100k~120k, i thought they make more than that...

an experienced IT consultant can make around100k also...hmm.....

don't think these data included benefits pay, which added up a lot.   also, prof would also teach in other uni/college and have other projects / research being pay on the side..   public sector ppl, many of them hold different pos at diff organizations (you know those that you go to meeting once a month and do not have to do anything)..   don't forget how much OT, vacation pay, pay in lieu, etc. that's haven't taken into account.

so..  i see these data just a projected representation of how much the position get pay, but not how much the person get pay each year.
