last year it was still snowing in April (in UBC at least)

It was snowing thru out last nite at Grouse.  Fun to ski at those lovely stuff again after no-snow for so long.  Look up and beautiful snow is up there.  Hurry up, you still have time to enjoy it.    Too bad I can't call in sick.

【明報專訊】大溫地區初春雖踏至，但寒冬未遠離，昨日普遍地區飄雪，加拿大環境部一度向大溫部分地區發出落雪警告，素里、白石、高貴林、本那比、溫哥華等降雪或濕雪，列治文在傍晚始飄薄雪，各地降雪量約5厘米至10厘米，菲沙河谷及威士拿等地約有15厘米，內陸一些公路降雪較嚴重，發生多宗交通意外。

環境部發言人透露，昨日的降雪是受到一股北極寒流影響，大溫地區不同城市的降雪量亦各有異，間中降下濕雪，氣溫亦驟跌至零度或以下，但今日清晨開始會停雪，天氣會轉為密雲，明日會間中轉晴，周六可能會降濕雪。

昨日下雪較嚴重的地區包括菲沙河谷、威士拿、溫哥華島東部等地，北極寒流帶來的大雪，影響到內陸南部地區的一些公路一度需要關閉，皇家騎警一度勸喻市民，如非必要暫時不要前往內陸降雪嚴重的地區。

溫哥華、本那比、列治文等普遍地方昨日降雪情況並不明顯，但高貴林及高貴林港等地飄下陣陣白雪，尤其在高地的降雪較嚴重，列治文地區普遍在傍晚6時過後才飄起薄雪。
