I have been to Mcdonald Beach, but now I always take my dog to the Fraser River Park which is on the opposite side of the river from Mcdonald Beach (you can always see dogs on the other side of the river).
The Fraser River Park is much bigger and a very nice and clean park.

what dogs do you have?

do you live in Richmond? how long does it take for you to get there? cuz I live near starlight casino (I am near the edge of Richmond), so it's a little bit too far to cross the bridge for me lol

I have an Airedale Terrier, I posted a pic in the other dog owner thread.

I live in Vancouver so the fraser river park is actually closer for me. But since I have been to both parks.. I find that the fraser river park is much bigger, got a big grassy area. There are very clean wooden plank sidewalks built along the water, and it leads to a sandy beach that looks and feels cleaner than the mcdonald side.
