啱啱去開精明網，見到大統華聽日開始有Dryer's雪糕賣喇，賣$4.79，雖然唔算太平，但係起碼唔駛再山長水遠落到美國買返嚟。正!!

you guys should try the Udder Guy's ice cream. It's locally made in Cowichan and available at wholefoods and other stores.
It's the old -fashion ice-cream made with real cream.
I normally like gelato better but this is my fav ice cream.

How can they not sell the most popular rocky road flavor? Actually Island farm ice cream is not bad too but I cannot find a rocky road better that Dreyer's.

Even Haag or Ben&Jerry ice cream are nice too .. but I love the taste from Rocky Road!!

i just stocked up my fridge with mini dryers ice cream over the summer from the states
now we have it here....no more excuses for me to go to the states anymore!!

It doesn't matter how good the ice-cream is if the staff did not do a good job putting it on shelves (into the fridge) and the receiver did not do a good job to deliver the ice-cream to the freezer immediately; which is the case in most of Chinese supermarket.

Once the ice-cream truck arrived, they just pull out the pallet and let it melt in the receiving area, or when they go to stock it, they brought out too many, end up half of the ice-cream already melt and get re-freezed..... the product ends up being icy and taste terrible.

I bought ice-cream from T&T Richmond before and Osaka from Yaohan..... all re-freezed ice-cream.

It's the 情意結 that counts. In HK, Dryers is one of the earlier imported ice cream brand and thus considered as superior in 80s or early 90s. Still remember when my Dad bought Dryers home every time I was so happy! Even in the 80s it's like $30/box and it's not cheap in those days.

I like Cookies "n Cream. 雖然我知道有其他牌子推出呢個flavour,不過始終覺得Dryer's嘅Cookies "n Cream最正。

I still have some Dryers in the freezer..my hubby sis bought 2 big one for us from the states..but I remember they are not that expensive...$4.79 seems too much for dryers...

I also got some haagen daz..but they are all rocky road favor..haha coz i like rocky road..no matter which brand.. lol

why do I need to move to USA? I like to live in Canada and shopping in USA. Who forbids me to live here and shop in USA? Yes I pay local taxes and cost of living but what does it get to do with this topic?????? Can you think of something else other than this? Right.. only when you needed help....

btw, back to topic. Do not want to waste more time on this Canadian Toppy crap. I like haagen daz ice cream too. I went to TnT yesterday and they only have three favors for Dryer.

As much as I like Dryers it is not worth the trip to go down to the States specifically for that. I do think Island Farms is a good alternative. Hagan Daz is a bit pricy and Ben & Jerry's is too sweet.

Oh...just to be consistent with the posts in the last few pages....
I have no problem spending $ in the States and I don't complain about the price of goods in Canada.
I am grateful to my upbringing (HK), my home country (Canada) and my #1 vacation country (US)....and I don't see any contradictory issues with having them in my life.
I live in the Metro Vancouver area...and I have no problem finding a decent job with the gov't.

There is a brand (i forgot the name) available in Save on and T&T, that is made in Victoria B.C. and they have mango and coconut ice creams which are very creamy and tasty.
