i just went to 上海/杭州/烏鎮 last summer as a 港燦自由行... can't think of anything specific except to remember to bring your own tissue/toilet paper when you go to any public washroom... oh and learn the map... some taxi drivers will intentionally "dou lo" and take twice the distance as it is needed.作者: Gale 時間: 2008-1-12 12:23 標題: thx

another thing to watch out for is fake rmb... what i heard is that if you give taxi driver a $100rmb they will look at it (and secretly change it to fake one) and tell u that it is fake so that u will have to give them another bill. the advise that i got from my bf's dad who is livin in china is to remember the last few digits from the bill before u pay...
上海﹕ 沒甚麼好看﹐ 大概一天可以看完。黃埔外灘. go there at night coz the lights are really pretty at night however there are A LOT of people. and plus the river is actually heavily polluted so don't expect anything romantic. 豫園, i haven't actually been inside but that's 上 海 市 內 的 一 處 古 園 林， 始 建 於 明 朝， 至 今 已 有 420 多 年 歷 史。 oh 我覺得一定要去的是在城隍廟裡有一家超級好吃的小籠包。although there is alwaz line up but it totally worth it! and to buy... it is pretty much same as in hk and hk is probably better coz u dun have to worry about fake stuff so much...
杭州﹕一定要看西湖。so pretty... wish i stayed there for more than a day... there are many things to see... don't really bother going to 龍井山 coz u can see ppl picking leaves at the 山腳 don't have to go up to see it. not sure if u r a tea person but don't buy any 龍井茶葉. my 三姨丈 bought it once and said the tea completely changed taste after he brought it back to hk...作者: Littleprince 時間: 2008-1-15 21:27
