「要靚唔要命」是重慶 23歲女子黃霞的寫照。原本身材屬標準的她，為了追求魔鬼身材，竟從網上購買寄生蟲的蟲卵，在體內養寄生蟲以達減肥目的。結果因肚痛及肚瀉不止，送院檢查，醫生發現她體內生長了 10多條蛔蟲。

「我就是太想擁有明星般的身材。」在醫院杜蟲後住院休養的黃霞表示，自己身高 1.65米，體重約 56公斤（約 120磅），但她仍嫌自己太肥，以前試過多種減肥方法無效，上月她在網上搜索，發現了幾種恐怖減肥法，排在首位的就是吃寄生蟲卵，而且網上說很多明星都是如此減肥，她於是花數百元人民幣在網上購買了兩盒寄生蟲卵減肥產品，每天吃三、四粒蟲卵，吃了半個月後，身材也沒啥變化，近日卻經常肚痛，並且因一日肚瀉八次而到醫院求醫後，發現體內長了 10多條蛔蟲。
醫生對她稱，蛔蟲有鑽孔習慣，容易造成腸穿孔甚至危及生命，建議她不應以過於偏激方法減肥。

burn your calories naturally rather than letting some worm do the job..
