Not fast but easy to make. This was the most praised dish from my guests when I had them over for dinner!

1. Approx 3 lb Savoy Cabbage
2. 1 pkg of bacon
3. Small onion
4. 3 bay leaves
5. Salt Pepper

Instruction:
1. Cut up bacon, cabbage, onions
2. Fry up bacon until a bit crispy
3. Add onions, fry until soft
4. Add cabbage and bay leaves
5. Stir well, cook on high until cabbage turns soft
6. Cover, turn low heat, cook for 45 mins - 1 hr.
7. Salt and Pepper to taste
* Taste even better the next day!

for #6, do i need to add some water before let it cook for 45 minutes?

I used the water fr. the cabbage after being washed. If you find you need to add water, you can do so. Or....a can of beer!!! Seriously! The original recipe asked for beer but I didn't want to add it.
