好奇一問，有很多朋友都是基督徒，在最初你們是怎樣會有這個信仰，和怎樣令你相信有神？有冇例子？

I was from a Catholic school too. But I am not Catholic and we never have to memorize any 金句.
I actually did HKCEE (I am old!) on Religious Studies but it's OPEN book. Pretty easy.
I like reading the stories but I am not Catholic.
I can say that I am Buddist instead.

According to my co-workers, they call themselves Christians if they are 基督徒. If they are Catholic, they call themselves Catholic. For the others, I think they call themselves Christians as well. Not sure.

BTW, I'm a Christian and I go to church as well

In theory, as long as you believe Jesus is the Saviour, and he died for us on the cross, you are considered as Christian.

However, going to Church is one of the responsibility as a Christian. Christians are the limb and Church is the body. So limb and body should always stay together. Church is a holy place for Christians to worship God.

Also, you can learn how to interact with different types of people, learning how to be brothers and sisters even though they are totally different or opposite than you. In normal circumstances, you choose your friends or people whom you want to be with. You hang out with people that are similar to you. In church, you have to learn how to accept people's differences and learn how to be brothers and sisters. So that's another reason to go to Church.

Another reason is, you need more knowledge of Bible to confirm what you believe. The best way is to go to church for sermons and bible study.

No matter Anglican, Christian or Catholic, all believe in God, follow the truth of Jesus Christ.  All are called Christian.  
Are you a Christian?  It is not just those who baptised, not just who claimed to be.  The most important is how to be, 如何以行動去跟隨耶穌，如何在生活中活出基督精神?如何「你在主內, 主在你內」?  

Go to church, read bible or participate any spirtual activities are the ways to work it out, and help you to work it out.  You are in God's family 你在主內.  On the other hand, you have to make use of what you have given (love, compassion, joy, hope, etc) in you yourselves or others 發揮「主在你內」的光和熱.

Be aware of those 口中承認.  even those they said將一切榮耀歸於上帝 at the end of certain events or activities.  The hidden reason of saying this phrase is to 提昇自我, with the purpose of   將一切榮耀歸於自己.   

So, 基督徒 are those believe in God, follow HIM, 活出來的!

All are one family in LOVE of Christ.

Studied in Catholic school all the time in HK. Still able to say prayers in Chinese and English. Never baptized. In my house there is 觀音，地主，仲要幫手接金銀衣紙。Don't want to have conflict. Don't want to be not able to 裝香比先人。唔想佢哋連香都無得食。
我相信呢個世界係有神，但係天堂何能好似凡間咁，西方有天父. 耶穌，東方有如來佛祖, 中東有阿拉真神。
Lots of my friends here are Christian. To me, as long as I follow Ten commandments and be a good person, I think that's enough.  I don't care if I'm able to go to heaven or not.

I went to Christian School and was forced to learn Bible like many of you. Many people talked to me about God but I never listen. Sometimes I argued with them like LittlePrince used to do.

Sometimes, when I was not happy or desparately need/want something, I would pray to God, telling Him that if You gave me this, I will go to church; if you gave me that, I would believe you. It was more like bargainning than praying. Somtimes I kept my promise and sometimes I didn't.

Few years ago, I went to the Choi Siu Fan's show. I went there only to see the Stars. When they pray and asked the believers to come to the front of the stage, I heard God's voice. He listed everything he did for me, and he told me to go to the front of the stage.

That's one of my experiences that God talked to me.

幼稚園天主教學校, 小學到中學都係基督教學校, i like the bible class, because i like the teacher and also easy mark.
曾經有DD相信, but now 不相信.  used to go to 教會，但只當是一個節目. but don't want to go anymore, because don't like those people
i believe there is a god or gods, look after us.  but don't know which one.  as long as i am a good person, i will be fine in after world.  i will say i am more a buddhist

每個人所領受的感動不一樣﹐在乎他自己的經歷同背景。。。當時身處佈道會﹐只是詩班唱到“凡勞苦擔重擔的﹐可以到我這裡來﹐我就使你得安息”﹐那刻開始我已喊到收唔到聲﹐因為那觸動到了我內心一直背負著的重擔。。。然後牧師講道﹐神親自向我說話﹐叫我歸向祂﹐整個過程是很自然的﹐真的像遊子歸家。。。

George is an excellence entertainer and I enjoy watching his shows (I am trying to watch all his shows on Youtube.)

However, he is just making fun of relgion and I don't think he can convince me buying into his ideas.

In my opinion,

1) believing in NO GOD is also a religion since there is no proof that there is no god and people also "blindly" believe in it or accept it as a fact;

2) logically, there is more practical evidences to prove there is a god than there is no god.

BTW, do you mind to share why 911 makes you change?

My opinion:
1. Generally speaking, to believe in something without solid (scientific) proof usually would be called 迷信. For example, to wear some kind of crystal can bring you good luck. But not to believe in something without solid (scientific) proof not usually called 迷信, the most people would called stubborn.
2. Why to believe there is a God is more logical? And even there is a God, why the Christianity God is more logical?

It is simple. If there is no god, then we need to believe everthing happened by chances (no plan, no design, no strucutre and no time line). However, the universe seems to be too complex for everything just happend by chance.

why do we have to have 2 hands, 2 legs, 2 eyes and 2 ears? why they are distributed so geometrically? why do other animals also have the same similar characters? it is just one example. there are too many examples we can list.

I didn't say Christianity God is more logical. Maybe we can talk about other religions as well.

Why people only have 2 hands and 2 legs... but not 3 eyes and 4 hands....? Who knows if 3 eyes and 4 hands could be better? All because of we see human is like what we see now, but we can't conclude that this must because of God made us, or there must be a God. For example, if someone found a $20 bill in a forest, he/she might think there must be someone who has passed by the forest and dropped the money on the ground. That's called logic-- someone dropped the money is not the only possible answer.

I don't object what you are saying since they are reasonable and valid.

However, I think there are only two possibilities that we can choose from - 1) there is a god (or gods), 2) there is no god.

What we can do with our limitation is to put these two possibilities side by side and weight them. If there is concret proof, there is no point for us to discuss about it.

But now the case is like, a person thinks he/she is always in very bad luck, but once he/she started to wear a crystal bracelet, he/she becomes luckier.
It's like a debate game in school, how can we show both sides in a logical way?

I didn't mean "吾比". Instead, I meant since both concepts can't provide solid proof, people have own will to choose what they believe and can't say the other(s) is/are wrong.
