wow nice cards!! I like the stamp on the 2nd pic (the candle and glasses one) is that heat embossing leh? (but how can you do diff colours?) and the bday wishes sign is heat embossing too?作者: Rainy 時間: 2009-12-21 00:40
Tobiko: I used the heat embossing for the candle and glasses. I first used the Yellow ink pad for the top part of the stamp, then the Red ink pad for the bottom part. Then, I used the clear embossing powder to create that effect. With the Bday wish sign, almost the same technique. However, I mixed my glitters with the clear embossing powder in order to create the glitter effect. (In which the glitters would stick on to the card)
I bought Martha Stewart's glitters but I don't find them fine enough. For these bday cards, I used the glitters I ordered from http://www.coastalscents.com because they are really fine and nice.

Rainy, when you use the glitter, how do you "prevent" your working area from "being a mess"? Say when I put glitter on the card, then it sticks on my stamped area and I would shake off the rest. The glitter would be all around since the bottle opening is "small"? And I can't seem to get glitter not stick on any paper of even crafting mat... Hm... So I have to use wet paper tower to clean my area. Lots of cleaning this way. Maybe you have a better way to work with it? Thanks~~作者: Rainy 時間: 2010-1-5 15:55
Thanks Rainy. My problem is, many of the glitter still stick on the A4 paper so at the end, it still goes to my desktop... oh well...作者: Rainy 時間: 2010-1-5 16:16
其實我倒返D glitters 落個 bottle, 有D stick on my A4 papers... 我用我個paint brush to help 倒返落個 bottle
