I am planning to go to downtown area for Olympic sight seeing day trip by bus with my fds tomorrow.
I just wondering where can I start and end or where can I go or what can I see?

前日我專登放半日假，同屋企人去
5個人落去，我地渣車泊PC，因為計吓條數，咁多人搭TRANSIT來回，OR EVEN DAY PASS，都冇著數。

我地行左入去BAY OLYMPIC STORE。。。排咗30分鐘。
入去買左少少野。不過WARNING： UNLESS你買衫OR D SPECIAL少少嘅野，OTHERWISE唔好係個度買。LD平好多。仲平過SOF。

之後我地行落ROBSON，影吓想相，回程行落GEORGIA，去睇ART GALLERY嘅另一面。行返落PC嘅SECOND LEVEL影相。。。

就咁行都玩左4／5個鐘LOL
下次先落YALETOWN & convention centre 個邊。

Just a suggestion. Once you pick up your Olympic stuffs from Bay, I think you can pay for them at another casher..! At least, that's what I did when I was in Richmond.

If you don't have any preference which pavillion is a must-go to you, maybe take skytrain to waterfront first to see the caludron, then walk down south or take skytrain to head to different pavillions. There are a few in Yale Town and near Science World, but the line ups are crazy.

By the way, Sport CXXk has good discount on Olympic clothing as well. It is "Buy one, get 2nd item at 50% off". I bought two Olympic jackets for my gf and myself. Each jacket was $79.99 and with discount the total is around $130. Still cheaper than getting them in Bay

Where are these different pavilions? I heard there are food pavilions from different countries and the food there is good, I want to go to Robson square, to where the lantern display is. Also, the Art gallery where the exhibits are.

【明報專訊】冬奧慶祝活動一波接一波，讓人目不暇接。記者經訪問多位參加活動的民眾，綜合民眾列出了最少有5大「最不可錯過」的熱門景點。雖然部門熱門景點大排長龍，但市民仍然認為是值得參觀。有華裔市民早在7時許開始排隊4小時玩「高空速滑索道」，認為有好像奪得獎牌一般的喜悅。

市民心中5大熱門景點，包括洛遜廣場區：除了有歷時30秒驚險刺激的Zipline「高空速滑索道」和美輪美奐的室外溜冰場外，更有典雅高貴的藝術展覽館和人潮湧動的燈籠森林。

溫哥華會議中心廣場：冬奧聖火盆觀景台為主打，可順便遠眺北溫壯麗風光。

Livecity演唱會：勁爆的搖滾樂、明快的鄉村曲、柔和的抒情歌。

加拿大北方館：展示了威猛兇悍的北極狼標本、巧奪天工的鯨魚骨雕塑、絢麗奪目的鉆石和金塊。令人體現到加拿大西北部地區的風情

列治文Ozone：展示風土人情和特產的「卑詩街」(BC Street)、盡情歡樂的「啤酒花園」，還有橙色海洋的荷蘭之家(Holland Heineken House)。讓民眾能慶冬奧，賞表演、品美食。

華裔民眾John昨日清晨7時30分與女友一起趕到了溫市中心的「高空速滑索道處」，排隊約4個小時後終於登上了滑索台，一試高空滑行的體驗。John事後表示，在高空中盡享冬奧氛圍，將是一輩子難以忘懷的刺激體驗，而最讓人高興的是能接受下面觀眾群們的歡呼聲，這給人一種英雄般的感覺，好似奪得獎牌一般喜悅。他和女友都為此準備了高清相機，親自拍下這難忘的速滑一刻。

他強調，幾天來已經與女友一起體驗了燈籠森林、北方館、原住民特色圖騰屋等，接下來要繼續體驗皇家鑄幣廠、列治文市的Ozone，素里市的荷蘭公園，還有格蘭湖島上的藝術長廊等地，讓自己的冬奧生活豐富而完整。

一群結伴參觀聖火盆華裔青年則興奮地表示，冬奧會學校放假，讓他們有足夠的時間來感受和參與這項體育盛事，雖然未能親臨比賽現場為加拿大隊加油，但一定會多參加場外的活動和向各方遊客宣傳冬奧會，展現加拿大青少年的熱情、友好和活力。

我就o係bc place 同gm place 中間返工,每日都見到好多人排bell ice cube 同alberta house...
如果你o地落dt, 多人o既話都係開車抵,泊o係sandman hotel $3.5/hr, $7/2 hrs, $25 full day...

I took skytrain to waterfront and went to watch the torch first.

I then walked to robson street to watching the zip line.

If you want to line up for the events, it might take you the whole day already.

Not really gei~ It took us only 30 mins to line up and get into Yaletown Pavilion~~ with another 45 mins to get into Coca Cola pavilion on a SUNDAY~~ a special tip is: when the line is getting closer to the Yaletown pavilion entrance...the line will split into 2 lines.. it is faster if u line up on the right hand side..near the fence.. the line is actually shorter and faster kekekee XD

That's my plan for tomorrow with my parents:

1. Take the bus and go all the way to Waterfront, take a picture with the flame.
2. Walk towards Gastown. You'll pass by the media center. German Pavilion locates near skytrain station.
3. Go to West Pender & Granville, where Royal Canadian Mint locates. They open until 10pm, and you can see the medals, process of coins, etc
4. Walk along Granville towards Robson St. You'll pass by those "trees", Olympic Superstore, etc
5. Go to Robson Square and Robson St area.

It's a 2-3 hours walk according to my experience. If you are not tired, you can go to Yaletown and Science World area afterwards as other people suggest........ but I would rather separate them into 3 days........ too much walking for lazy Canadians like me! We never walk that much!

I took skytrain to waterfront to take picture from the flame last friday

walked to robson street , 'cuz of too much people line up for the skytrain... walk around there and took some pictures from olympic arts on granville and shopped around there..

I lined up for 20 mins to get into bell's... it's nothing to see.. they put at least 10 LCDs .. they just give you free headset and watched the olympic with their LCDs

took skytrain to b.c. place.. and checked out some pavillions...

walked to yaletown checked out some street dance, live band, and tried to line up for live city of yaletown.. but they closed the line up.. the cop said that too many people inside.. they need to close for line up.. but it's just only 7pm...

it's end up we walked to plaza of nations.. look like chinese night market there.. nothing special..

we had never walked that much before .. from 1pm to 8pm

I will go to yaletown sometimes this week or check out granville island tomorrow
