I guess those C 9 always say they step on the brake .. but actually, on the gas pedal .. ( or both .. )

Can't keep blaming Toyota .. as most of Toyota drivers are dumb C 9 ... do they really know what are they doing when driving??

That's not true at all. Toyota cars are sold all over the world to all kinds of people, not just c9s.

One of the people who complaint about Toyota car and almost got into accident is Apple's co-founder. not a C9.

and I strongly believe that the current so-called fix doesn't really fix the problem. The problem is the computer clips /software.

Then how do you explain why only Americans died?  It also has been proved many cases caused by improper use of carpet on the owner's part, e.g. adding a rubber one for rain and winter days ON TOP of the original carpet which ended up stuck up the gas and brake pedal.

If this is in fact the cause, then Toyota can't be blamed even more.  When it comes to software and programming, there is NO EVEN ONE software ever built is PERFECTLY BUG FREE unless you are talking about the simplest kinda of programming like "Hello World".  Just look at Microsoft, Apple, Google, any one in the software business...

If this is the case, we might just pass a law to prohibit car manufacturer to use any software at all.  i.e. the auto industry is going to regress for 20 years.  Does everyone want that?  Just because it happened to 30+ cases out of tens of millions affected cars sold?  You do the math and tell me if the failure rate is relevant or not.

From heavy equipment,microwave,cellphone, etc etc can kill/hurt people ..

However, how many of those cases, are by user mistake?

I do agree Toyota has been overpriced and overated in N/A ... , Toyota may not be MUCH better then domestic cars, but, I don't think it is that bad ...

I don't totally understand what you said here.
It is a fact that Toyota cars are sold all over the world to all kinds of people, not just c9s. Are you saying c9s outside of the US do not drive cars?

Also, some people do put rubber mats on top of the original mats. But people do that in all brands of cars, not just Toyota cars. How come Toyota cars seem to have more problems with this?

I drove a few Toyotas, Fords before and now drive a Honda. My feeling with Toyota is their car can be not very responsive at times and the car feel is very 'fake'. If the car runs into problem, it will be very dangerous.

I also had the experience of the car suddenly went into acceleration and I thought it only happen to badly abused 'rented' cars, now I know the reason why

I experienced sudden stop (unable to change gear during the middle of drive or stayed at gear 1-->have to really slow down) both BMW and MB....so I believed all cars are the same in that regard! haha
