Today's newspaper headlines are all about the demographics of new canadians. Said in 20 years, the ratio of visible minorities vs white will be 3:2... I am not surprised at this. Not sure how the Caucasians feel about this news.

明報專訊】2013年大溫地區「少數」族裔將成為主流！整個大溫地區，少數族裔將佔總人口近六成。華裔人口亦將增倍，由2006年40萬人增加至81萬，佔大溫人口23%，屆時幾乎每4個人中，便有1人是華裔背景。此外，21年後，華裔及印裔仍是大溫主要的少數族裔。

yea.. Canada is really special. Don't think USA will let similar thing happen to their country, but I don't have their statistics.

LOL, and you assume all visible minority is Chinese?  Think again...

If you read the original ENGLISH article, they were referring to South Asians like Indians, etc.  They actually pointed out that Chinese as visible minority has the lowest birth rate.

Sorry to  burst your bubble.  Richmond will soon become Surrey instead.  Just ask any young ppl attending Richmond's high schools...

See in which area, down Railway and Moncton, the elementary sch, the majority are white and Japanese, some 2nd generation chinese that don't speak Chinese

i don't know do they speak chinese, but my friend checked the #1 primary school in richmond and 95% is chinese. so she decided not to buy a property in that area
