Strawberry muimui: The only problem with MS punch is that it doesn't take too thick cardstock.

Rainy, yeah this card I am making for my friend who love coffee....
I plan to use another stamp (from the same set) in the beginning but didn't have enough time to think about how to colour it....so I give up and make this simple one instead.

I think this one is simple and nice. It brings out a strong coffee taste (at least I can smell that from here!) kakakaka

Where do you girls usually buy your MS punches? They are so nice yet so expensive. I went to M's yesterday and yeah.. I had to hold off because they are just too expensive that I can't afford! =(

Maybe you can emboss your mug with a mixture of Clear Embossing Powder and Coffee Powder. After embossing, scratch it then the coffee scent will come out. By the way, which inkpad did you use? I'm looking for a Dark Chocolate colour inkpad. The darkest I have is Brillance's Coffee Bean.

And yes, for those MS punches, the thickest you can use I guess is their own solid colour papers.

Re Rainy, I usually get my punches when I have those 50% off coupons.

The dark brown ink I used is ColorBox pigment Brush Pad (Chestnut colour). My instant coffee powder is not that fine...Don't think it mix well w/ the embossing powder...hm.. But I like that idea...if I have some fine coffee powder I will give it a try!

  I really loved it.  I luv ur colour combination.
I should try it with all my new supplies. hehe^^
Too bad my LuminArte shimmer gold powder always stuck my mist bottle.  I have to use the white pearl instead of the gold.

By the way, where do you get your dimensionals?  Recently, I'm looking for them.  I know Daiso sells them but don't know whether their quality is good or not.  They have both circle and square shape dimensionals.

Remember, you were telling me to buy the sponge sheet from I'm Impressed.  They ran out of it.  However, I found an exact material sponge from Daiso.  Those White Magical sponge located in upper level and beside the laundary section.  It also works fine too...  Better quality then using felt.  But the thing is I have to get some velcro to attach to the wooden block that I DIY.

Dimensional? U mean those pop dots right? I got it from Michaels...and the one from Dollar store also works fine. Never tried Daiso though. Maybe we should shop in Daiso together some day.
I got those velcro in Daiso as well, the sewing section. It already comes with aheasive at the back so just stick to the sponge.

IMO, I would like the card w/o the ribbon and flowers more. They don't seem to go together as the ribbon and flowers are more of the contemporary style while the background is more of a country style?

Thank you and I really appreciate your comment. I'm not able to find another better match ribbon at that time...oh well. Actually it's a bit surprising, because my other friend say she likes this one and pick this to be her "order", out of all other cards....so it's like 錯有錯着？

Peacock birthday card.

I use various type of distress ink:
peel paint, broken china, tea dye, anitque linen for the peacock,Tattered rose and spiced marmalade for the flower, shabby shutter andbundled sage for the leaves. Distress the edges with walnut stain.
For the larger background, I stamp HA Old Letter Writing with tatteredrose, distress the edge with walnut stain and tea dye. Attached to darkbrown card stock and tie up with a hemp cord. Finish off with Basicsrhinestones. Sentiment is also HA from the CL139 Birthday Message set.

I find that it is really hard to make cards for guys especially for dad (like father's day, birthday) Do you gals have that problem?

both cards look really good! I think the embelishments, stamps pattern papers that I have are all for girls so I'm totally stuck when I sit down to make a fathers day card =p
I attempted a couple but they are only so-so... too simple or , i don't know, bad design too I guess

Just to share wedding card this time:

Dress stamp: Inkadinkado 8353
Sentiment: HA CL272
BG Cappella paper pad
Cuttlebug Textile folder on the dress
Others:
ribbons, gem stones, studio G glitter glue

No stamp! Only ribbon, sticker, cuttlebug d'vine swirl embossing folder, rangers diamond stickles.

Btw, I found the Rangers glitter glue (which is called stickles in rangers' term) much easier to use. The bottle is softer plastic so it's much easier to squeeze than the studio G glitter glue.
