been to 仁和 tonite.. the hoster was so impolite.. we stood there n waited for over 5 mins, in the meanwhile the hoster was talking to a girl about the Sony Ericsson phone like how many GB is the camera.. 10 mins later, he finally walked to us n asked how many ppl.. after we told him we need a table for 2, right away he said 20 mins. wait.. hold on, no one was waiting there, n there was also tables available..

swear that I'll never go there again.. we got treat like Shxt...

hm....I dont know what is the complete the story, but first thing, how come u stood there and wait for 5 minutes before u asked for help but not asking for help RIGHT AFTER u arrived?

cos when I walked in the restaurant, I noticed the male hoster was so busy talking to a female customer n I thought it's business related.. that's the reason y I didn't interrupted them. I didn't notice they were talking about SE cell phone until 5 mins later.. he walked to us cos I said in a loud voice that "Oops, this is a cell phone store instead of a restaurant"

Don't ever try the sushi+HotPot,
they have everything mixed up and
the food are not appealing at all.
Last time I went there for a dinner
meeting and, well, I would not want to go again, ever

my family used to go to 東京一番... but they have been on renovation.. so we changed to 仁和 instead...

仁和 is not bad cuz they have a lot of food to choose from and most of them taste good..=) but in terms of 生牛肉 and 生蠔, i prefer the ones at 東京一番 more cuz i personally think they taste better..

by the way.. does anyone know what happened to 東京一番？
i think they posted a note saying they are on renovation until the end of March... but they still haven't reopen until now...

I agree. Compare to the restaurants in Japan, all you can eat and non all you can eat Japanese restaurants here are all crap! And quote the old statement: you got what you paid for la! lol

for 生蠔, just buy and open them yourself la. I save sushi for sushi restaurants.
Getting 生蠔 from more expensive places (safer I guess) is still way cheaper and better than AUCE. I can only eat max a dozen. And the cost of that is prob less than $10 and around $15 if you pick only Kumamoto or Kusshi.

of course it is probably cheaper to just eat raw oysters... but if you include other dishes, it might probably double the price..
other than that people might just want to save the hassle from opening the oysters themselves (I have tried opening oysters myself and it's not as easy as I thought)

besides... i wasn't comparing raw oysters to other restaurants...
i was just comparing the 2 AYCE i have been to recent years...
Comparing the raw oyster from Tokyo Ichiban and Ninkazu...
I just prefer Tokyo Ichiban more...

I went there once for lunch... comparing to the time i went for dinner... their sushi during dinner time taste much better...
the sushi during lunch time were hard and it tasted like from the night before...

if you just want to get full, then lunch isn't bad..

if you want "better" sushi... then dinner is probably better...

that is not true, many people think the Japanese owned non AUCE here are tolerable.

Aiya...sorry to hear you don't have good experience... but I only went there for dinner... not too sure about lunch... anyway... I do think it's a better AUCE than other places.
