我會在6月10日至26日外遊, 我家小狗無人照顧, 想問下有無家庭式的寄養狗服務可以介紹? 或者有無人可以幫手湊狗狗? 我去過animal hospital睇過, 間方好細, 但入邊就擺左好多籠(雖然唔係所有籠係有動物係入邊, 但感覺唔係太好)

what kind of dog???

I understand it is difficult to find someone who can take good care of the dog during trip. 3 years ago I found a boarding guy but I am super not happy about him I felt guilty too... long story. So I never ever send my dog to a business boarding place.

I was lucky to find a couple who has the same dog as mine and was also looking for a person who can take care of their dog while on vacation. We end up being good friends and bringing our dogs to each others places for sleep over once a while. But then of course you will have to be ok to board the other dog la. I love "exchange boarding" because both sides will for sure take great care of other's dog and since no money is involved, one must be a dog lover if he/she wants to do exchange boarding with you, and my dog got a best friend too haha.

It is havashu. He is 2 years old.

I agree with you. It is the best way to ask a pet lover and reliable friend to take care of dog and "exchange boarding" is a very good idea but we failed to do so

Honest speaking, I am worrying my dog will get sick or depressed after visiting that animal hospital since he will be kept in a cage for 17 days. We only can do is trying our best to find a suitable place for him to stay.

To me it's an absolutely no-no for boarding in cages because your dog will be so depressed, and it's going to be 17 days which is a long time for him. The worst thing is you will never know what has happened during the time because your dog cannot tell you how he feels

yeah. I posted the 2 that looks like they have play area for the doggies... but u never know.... one of them said they will provide pictures and logs of dog's activities.... but well...
actually the 2nd one is owned by a coworker (that I don't really know)'s wife.

I really hope my dog can enjoy these daycare places but he is dominant and feels stressed out with too many dogs around! I guess dogs are all different, I see many dogs love to go to these daycares.

o... I just read that the beloved dog place has "IN HOME BOARDING". So if your dog likes other dogs, it may work out. The owner takes the dog home with the rest of her dogs (3) and then take the boarding dog to the daycare during the day.

I wish I saw this post earlier. I can help babysit ur puppy.

I have a puppy too so I don't mind to lend a hand and will be great for them to play together.
