請問有沒有人用過城市電訊的 broadband phone service?
http://www.ctinets.bc.ca/bbphone.shtml

這是一個香港號碼的寬頻電話, iTalkBB 也有這服務.
我有興趣安裝, 想看看其他用戶的意見/投訴.

有朋友說 Telus 也有類似的服務, 但是在海外安裝BC的電話號碼. 不過我在 Telus 的網站找不到資料.

我用左CTI 都幾年, 服務OK, 但有時電話會無TONE, 有時reboot 就OK, 但有時連續幾日都係咁(要打去CS先得), 今年我已經無用, 依家改用calling card, $5有成400-500分鐘(打香港手機), 加上佢每年都會加價. 最初好似$10/月, 依家要成$12-13/月, 仲要預繳1年.

謝謝 cunningchu 的回覆. 我一直都是用 skype, calling card 或間撥服務, 以我的需要那是比較便宜的.
但現在為了方便老人家及在香港的長者親友, 要一個香港的電話號碼對他們來說比較容易用.
現在城市電訊要預繳兩年才 $10/月, 否則要預繳一年 $13/月, 我還在考慮是否值得.

    同意..但係方便香港屋企人,我都係繼續用
$10/一個月,預繳2年..如果CANCEL 都係比$8

    I am also using the Citi IP Phone (with the HK number). Before when I use the old modem it always requires reboot. But the new one that I got..I don't need to reboot at all (maybe once in 2 months or so). I can even BT while talking. Quality is good (loud voice, very smooth ...)
I don't prepaid and it costs about $16 w/ tax. I still think it worth because it save the long distance cost on the other side. i.e. HK relatives they don't need to call long D.
Overall I'm satisfied.

cancel $8? 咁平?!

我之前想係合約完結前終止服務(仲有3個月剩), 打去cs問, 佢話要提早取消的話, 要按剩餘合約的月份, 每月要罰$2 + 稅. 最後唯有用到合約完為止.

不過, 如果經常要打番香港或者要同香港親戚朋友保持聯絡, cti都ok架.

    上次我諗緊簽一年定兩年..咁佢cancel 都係$8, 我咪簽o左2年lor
