Hong Kong does a better job than Canada.
China ranks way better than the other major developing countries like Brazil, India, and Russia.
China also ranks better than South Korea, Thailand and Japan.

I don't know why 澳洲 is one of 亞洲國家, but 澳洲國家足球隊 joined Aisa (recoganized as an Asian team) a few years back.

Competitiveness on prosperity as a country, not competitiveness in killing each other and profitting off it as individuals. For the latter China definately trumps Canada. Can't say that is exactly true for the former.

Or in another words, China is can be viewed as competitive economically, but sometimes at great expense of a certain group of their own people, whether it be in economics, quality of living, rights, safety or health care, etc. Adding legal and political/policy instabilities, there are plenty that's lacking in China when competitiveness is viewed in a more well rounded fashion.

Tho viewing competitiveness a whole package, I can see how Canada maybe considered superior. Having a great quality of living, or just cuz people aren't thinking about how to rip each other off all the time, doesn't mean that as a country, Canada's not competitive.

coz there are so few countries in the australian continent...its not worthy to have its own competition
