原因好簡單, 通常都係ISP 去海條水喉有問題. 至於Shaw 用邊條線黎香港, 我就真係唔知道lu.

我都有同樣既問題！好多香港網頁都唔得。

不過奇怪既係：我重可以連接到駁住同一個 router（響香港）既 slingbox，不過 router 既管理員頁面就去唔到！

Technical 層面而言, 佢講既野只係想拖下你, 因為佢地呢個level 既人唔會知道點解會唔得, 而呢d 問題亦都唔係咁易解決. 加上你又唔係乜野大客, 呢招拖字就最有效, 因為好多時第二日就會冇問題...

你當冇睇過我個post, 聽佢講unplug 一晚modem (真係信果個都傻), 聽日就一天都光哂架喇! 為左配合佢, 你最好之後send 封贊揚信比佢地, 因為佢地幫你解決左呢個問題~

都唔係玩野既... 人地都唔想架...
不過, 用proxy 要小心d, 千祈唔好做d transaction 既野, 亦都盡量唔好login 一d web application (如web mail), 因為proxy 可以做到man-in-the-middle attack, 咁你d info 就會比人capture 哂.

都係果句, 呢個情況唯有等待. 當然, 你可以用d proxy 去香港site, 不過就真係一定唔好經proxy 做d high risk 既動作law. (如: online banking 之類)

I called the Shaw tech support this morning at around 7:30, ran a few tests and trace route, they said they will get back to me and I am still waiting.

I finally got the reply from Shaw. They said they have identified the problem and they are working on it. Obviously I wasn't given any estimated time-line. Thus just keep trying people.

Would shaw allows a non shaw DNS server access? I am guess this can be DSN related. At time, when there is DNS problem, you can communicate through IP address, but no with DNS Name. One of the thing you can try is to ping an ip of a hk hosted website which you have problem accessing. If all went well by using IP, but not through the host name (DNS Name), then it is probably the DNS server that shaw is using.

用internet tethering上網暫時解決了問題。但Shaw是什麼水準低劣公司？竟然這樣的問題用了24小時都未能攪掂！！！

Of course they did not (and would not) provide any details of the problem. They just said it' relating to routing. No it's not about DNS because it does resolve the domain name to IP correctly.

WHAT?! HST bumped up the price even higher? Oh man I really need to consider switching as I have all 3 services (TV, phone, internet) with them.

以我敷淺的理解，上到互聯網，但上不到某國的網頁，是否那國block 了你的ip。但上到某國的其中某網頁(in this case- 蘋果日報)，但其它於這國的網頁上不到...實在匪夷所思!!!

maybe they have problem with their routing tables then....? If you know someone in other area what don't have problems accessing, maybe you can ask if you can remote into their computer, and use their system. Maybe your work place allow remote access as well?

昨天下午開始5得, 同你地一様好多hk sites都上5到, 但今朝去左burnaby, 下午去左vancouver, 用同一部laptop都係用shaw上, 全部都上到, 夜晚再返泥richmond就全部又死哂, 發現係richmond區shaw全部人都上5到, 相信你地5得嘅都係richmond ?!

剛剛又打過去Shaw，他們說不是Shaw的問題，可能是香港的黑客做的，他們正在聯絡香港，叫香港去解決！！！不能容忍！！！
唔知佢地係咪聯絡"香港互聯網中心???"，甘香港又會點做，佢地會唔會緊張你地一小撮海外華人上唔上到佢地D網？
蘋果日報消息靈通，一日內已detect到有呢個問題，仲立即攪掂，因此我地到呢一刻，剩係去到蘋果。（Shaw話我地上到蘋果係因為蘋果自己整好的）依單野發生在七月一日，會不會有陰謀？
