本報訊

為了改善鐵路系統，阿根廷官方計劃斥資逾10億美元引進中國鐵路技術。顯示阿根廷與中國的合作關係增強，最終有助更多阿根廷大宗商品和礦物產品出口到附近國家及中國市場。
據《華爾街日報》報道指出，阿根廷總統費南德茲預計將在7月12日至15日出訪中國期間宣布這一消息。
阿根廷首都的「阿根廷中國商會」發言人塔沃阿達表示，阿根廷政府將投資一個名為「貝爾格拉諾貨運」的長期項目，以改善鐵路系統，而且向中國北車集團和中國南車集團採購相關材料。
他指出，阿根廷政府希望這兩家公司承建鐵路，並提供電氣化等技術。該項目將耗資至少13億美元，總額可能高達數10億美元。阿根廷官方承認正在準備相關聲明，但拒絕提供細節。

I was very impressed by the advance in technology achieved by Chinese scientists. If my memory serves me correctly, the number of 科技專利 registered by China in 2009 is 10 times more than the number registered by India.

I couldn't recall where to find the English reference. Therefore, I give you the Chinese reference instead.

# of pattern China reginstered in 2009 is: 7946
# of pattern India registered in 2009 is: 600 ~ 700 (Chinese reference does not have the figure)

自動挖鼻孔機可以申請patent; 火藥都可以申請patent, 但兩者對人類發展既貢獻差好遠.
你唔list out 果7946 專利, 我唔會認同你既睇法的.

Yes, of course. You can apply whatever you want, but whether it is accepted is not up to you. You can certainly deny anything you wish, but your deny won't change anything. The freedom is in you hand.

I don' think so. People have the impression that Chinese products = crappy products.

But did people realize they are mostly consumer products? Did people on LYK realize Japanese and Korean products used to have the same reputation as the Chinese products have today?

When talking about the territory of advanced technology, the reliability of Chinese products is not much less than other advanced western countries. For example, rocket launching. The Chinese success rate won't be any lower than other countries and I believe it is higher than some of them as well.

That's nonsense. Chinese railway quality is among the best in world and is also one of the largest railway network.
Of course Chinese railway is way better than India railway.
Unless there are natural disasters like landslide or flooding, Chinese railway has one of the best record in the world.
For the new Chinese highspeed railway, the quality of the trains and the design methodologies of the railway tracks and stations are leading the world.

Chinese aerospace technology is among the best in the world, way better than Japan or India.
China has already launched numerous satellites that will form China's own GPS system. The Beidou Navigation System (BNS) will enable China's military and civilian users to find their way anywhere in the world without relying on the U.S. GPS system.
