啱啱去完RCSS返嚟，有個故事同大家分享。

有D日用品要去RCSS買，買完，我用開SELF CHECKOUT （雖然都成100幾蚊野，不過我唔係IDIOTIC，SELF CHECKOUT快好多

）LOL
諗住用GIFT CARD，然後碌卡比尾數啦，點知DUT極張GIFT CARD都唔WORK喎。個ATTENDANT 嚟DUT都唔得！ATTENDANT CHECK張卡啦，發覺ZERO BALANCE！

我自己張＄100 GIFT CARD只用過一次，兩個星期前比咗＄44蚊，應該仲有＄55幾蚊淨。

去CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER CHECK，SUPERVISOR幫我CALL去HEAD OFFICE CHECK。。。等等等。。。等咗好耐。。。問我有冇KEEP＄44幾蚊嗰次張單，鬼有咩～碌GIFT CARD，我冇諗過要KEEP單架嘛！

佢番嚟話CHECK到，張GIFT CARD係係RICHMOND買嘅（我知啦），然後我前兩個星期係RICHMOND碌過＄44蚊野。最抵死係，上個星期SOME HOW張GIFT CARD 係PITT MEADOWS有人碌過 5仙，然後再碌哂REMAINING BALANCE ＄55幾蚊！

張GIFT CARD自從我碌過一次只後，冇離開過我銀包，我呢幾年都冇去過PITT MEADOWS，連嗰度有間RCSS我都唔知啦～～！

結果，個SUPERVISOR話KEEP住我張GIFT CARD，填埋FORM話做INVESTIGATION。。。不過要成4至6個禮拜先有消息。我問佢有冇試過咁個CASE，佢話有。唔知D人點拿到GIFT CARD嘅資料。。。

你地有冇試過咁個CASE呀？

i bought a Michaels gift card for someone before. when the person tried to use it the next day乍, the balance was $0

!!!ended up they didnt check the receipt and refill the card. i wont buy give card over $100

gift card is easiest to steal..

just like stealing a credit card data..
but then you can steal gift data prior of purchasing in store
Since the data serial remains the same always

once you got the data and cloned the card, you test the card (rmb that 5 cent?) see if anyone put money or purchased it. Once it went thru then you can use it as cash.

that is why i prefer people give me real cash

It's the cashier fault.. but... not intentionally, everyone made mistakes

you have to be sure that you have 100 when you refill the amount
staff might use your card to buy stuff

I am talking about the magnetic strip swipe card as a gift card.

the number you scratch off is the activation code or access pin right?
but, do you ever need to enter any pin to use to card in front of the cashier?
they all just swipe it on the system, as long they are activated, the pin and the code dont matter

That's why they don't sell the prepaid Visa/Mastercard on the rack.

Could that be a hacked card reader in Superstore that read your card info?

I thought the 5 cent really proves there is a fraud involved becasue no one would be able to buy something so cheap in the real world.
