「維基解密」網站公開的最新機密文件稱，中國高官曾表示，接受以韓國為主導的「統一大韓」。

在此之前，「維基解密」昨日公開的密件已顯示，美國和韓國官員曾經討論，一旦朝鮮政權倒台，如何透過給予中國「商業利益」，利誘其支持一個以韓國為主導的「統一大韓」鄰邦。

而英國廣播公司今早報道，最新公開的密件顯示，曾有兩名中國高官表示，朝鮮半島的兩個國家，應該以韓國為主導統一。

報道指，這兩名中國高官曾對一名韓國官員稱，雖然中國並不樂見美國軍隊出現在北方的領土上，但中國並不看重朝鮮作為緩衝國家的價值。

有分析指出，最近確實有迹象顯示，中國就朝鮮政策存在了政府內部的爭論。不過，中國仍繼續在經濟上和外交上，對朝鮮表示支持。

The problem here is that "who will be the ally of Korea, if it is united."

US wants the Whole Korea to be their ally along with Japan to fight China. China sees that and rather want the current Korea Governments unchanged.

A nuke carrying military heading to their demise first economically, and now diplomatically losing one of their last ally the thought they can depend on...

Obviously you know nothing about the importance of Korean War impact to the modern China, as well as the world...

Mao has made a correct (but not necessarily good) "political" judgement at that time frame.

死在朝鲜的军人，死后的待遇是什么？被埋在朝鲜的中国志愿军人，在朝鲜战争后被朝鲜人从地里挖出来抛尸

China is now the largest export markets for both Korea and Japan.
But Japan is the common of enemy of both China and Korea. In the past 150 years, Japan had used Korea numerous times as a springboard to attack China. Both Chinese and Korean are still suspicious of Japanese militarism.

A new unified Korea will challenge Japanese industries. So Japan has the most to lose. China is too big for Korea to pose a challenge. Imagine the Korean companies like Samsung and Hyundai setting up factories in low cost North Korea, they will be a big challenge for Japanese industries which are already losing market share to the Koreans. It is Japan that is worried about a unified Korea.

每年中国用纳税人的钱供养朝鲜，供养朝鲜高官的奢华花费，知道现在中国还是用钱供养朝鲜，宁愿让千千万万的中国儿童挨饿，没书读，也要贴钱给朝鲜高官，中国的唔好好处哦，死左的中国军人在朝鲜连安葬的地方都没，最后给朝鲜人挖出来给野狗啃骨头，你话了，边个做左蠢事？

Very disappointed you haven't studied Cold War in good depth...

I agree that China has been betrayed by companions Russia and North Korea past the war. Short after the war, China has gone through a crazy era of the cultural revolution. However, since then, there's no more major warfares associated with China for couple decades...

You should think again here. The US spends large amount of money to maintain the military bases in Korea and Japan.

China has used North Korea as a leverage or a bargaining chip against the US. The US needs China's cooperation with regard to North Korea. China can then asks the US to shutup about China currency and other trade issues.

I was more referring to US digging itself into plenty of sh_t holes around the world, not necassarily just the Korean War itself. Including all those stirring they did in Asia, Middle East and Africa. I don't think all of them benefitted the US at the end.

Anyways, there's no contest that US is the most powerful and frequent stir-sh_t-stick country in the world LOL.
