今晚落 Robson Street 行街, 之後打算去 Denman St 既洋食屋食炸豬扒飯, 點知去到已關門大吉, 請問佢係搬咗, 剩係真係 Close for Business 呢 ??

O NO! I love their curry pork cutlet rice. I hope they are only closed for holidays!

Unfortunately more and more shocking news and disappointment regarding restaurant closed down will be coming up after the Christmas and New Years cause lots of well known restaurant in town need financial help because of HST and Alcohol restriction problems since last few monts

sad... but well I don't think Alcohol restriction has anything to do with 洋食屋.
But HST may be and I have to admit that I haven't visit it for the last 3 years.

Restaurants in the DT area are certainly getting hit hard by a barrage of things.

The parking meter time extension to 10pm. The state of the economy. The HST. The ridiculously strict drinking and driving law changes to name a few.

Ugh...

I don't think the strict DUI law is ridiculous for law abiding BC residents.
There should be zero to ...

Well said and totally agreed with u cause it's been unfair for those drivers or people been killed because of those drinking driver! But somehow, heavy tax, expensive parking around DT, and drinking by laws almost at the same time which kill the business and restaurants though
