港人對中國人身分認同10年新低

【明報專訊】香港大學民意研究計劃最新的市民身分認同調查顯示，市民自稱為「中國人」的比率只有21%，較半年前的結果下跌7個百分點，而自稱為香港人的比率則上升11個百分點至36%。至於對「中國人」身分的認同感則為7.1分，是1999年以來的新低。民意研究計劃總監鍾庭耀認為，調查結果與內地政府阻撓劉曉波領取諾貝爾和平獎有關。

鍾庭耀：與劉曉波事件有關

今次調查於本月6至10日舉行，以電話隨機抽樣形式訪問共1011人。結果顯示，市民反對台灣和西藏獨立的比率分別高企於75%及72%，均較上次調查的比率為高。在兩岸統一的信心比率方面，表示正面的維持在49%；表示負面的則上升4個百分點至42%。

受訪者對「香港人」身分的認同感，分數較上次調查上升0.22分至8.12分；對「中華民族一分子」的認同感則下跌0.45分至7.42分；對「中國人」的認同感則下跌0.53分至7.1分，是1999年以來的新低。

時事評論員劉銳紹認為，民調普遍反映市民對近期熱話的看法，相信市民對中國人身分認同下跌，與劉曉波、趙連海、譚作人等一系列內地處理維權人士的手法有一定關係。他指出，雖然內地亦有舉辦世博、廣州亞運等正面大型活動，但市民普遍認為以中國的強大，辦大型活動毋庸置疑，相反負面事情則預期政府可以處理得更好，相信內地處理劉曉波事件的手法，令市民感到失望，加深了市民對內地的疏離感。

Well ..

Put it this way ..  20 yr ago .. or even 10 yr ago ..  when u said you are chinese ... probably not much respect ...  and not much service u get from retail stores ..  when u said you are from HONG KONG ..  u got better service ....

But now?? service level?  CHINA > JAPAN > Hong Kong > TW > some other asian countries!!  (Excluse Brunie, but minority)

可能真係因為順利過渡既關係, 小弟對呢個"香港人"既稱號已經唔上心了.
97 前, 小弟都好緊張自己係香港人而唔係中國人, 因為當時我覺中國人係大陸人, 香港人係唔同d. 97後, 香港回歸左, 就覺得自己同中國越來越近, 真係越來越愛國了!

And don't tell me there is no difference, I am not trying to glorify the Hong Kong people, where we are brain-washed by the Western Society. Actually just tonight I had a conversation with my dad and brother, we were criticizing our Chinese neighbor. And I started saying "these mother****ing chinese people...blah blah blah" My dad quickly remind me that I am Chinese too. And I said to him, "you guys should correct me every time, by Chinese people, I am referring to Chinese people who are born under the Communist regime, their character and morals are mutated by the so called Socialism with Chinese characteristics."

本地白人多數唔識同唔會嘥時間分你係邊類中國人，兼且香港都回歸中國多過十年。

成曰話自己係香港泥有時會令本地人反感，因為佢地睇唔起d搞分化嘅人，會俾人感覺中國人一盤散沙，冇哂民族同國家尊嚴。　與其係咁，我會話現在我係加拿大人。

響溫哥華呢度同我 interact 過嘅西人大部份都知道香港同中國大陸嘅人有所不同。實際上有幾大唔同、有乜野唔同，佢地未必好清楚，但最少佢地都唔係好似你咁無知。

溫哥華唔係埠仔，你自己低能、無見識，就唔好當人地其他人一樣都好似你咁係井底之蛙。

如果你連香港來同中國大陸來有咩分別都唔知道嘅話，我真係唔知仲有乜野好同你講。特區護照同中華人民共和國護照有咩唔同，你不如問吓身邊任何一個香港同大陸嘅朋友，特別係果啲屋企人想申請過來加拿大玩（旅遊）嘅人。

一般美國佬唔能識野又有咩咁出奇？有好多連加拿大人係咪全部住響 igloo 裡面都唔能知，你攞佢地來講又有鬼用呀？

As a Chinese from Hong Kong, I somewhat feel a disconnection to my homeland, the place I was born in changed after the handover. It doesn't feel like home anymore. More and More I feel like one of those Cuban exiles in Miami. They hate the Cuban regime, but have no power to stop it. One day though, this would be a while from now, I would like to go back to my homeland and spark some changes. Tell them how real business of governing is done, not through propaganda, but through integrity, democracy and sustainability.
