內地食品貴過美國
內地物價飛漲，食品價格「超英趕美」！浙江杭州有網民日前與美國波士頓朋友聯手，分別到當地大型超市做物價調查，發現總體物價杭州貴過波士頓，其中牛奶、雞蛋、肉類更貴逾一倍。在物價追貼的同時，杭州人均收入卻不足波士頓八分一。調查曝光後引起網民共鳴，大批內地城市白領感同身受，直指：「為甚麼我們社會主義的日子這麼難過？！」
杭州男網民王佩上周四偕美國波士頓朋友納納，分別在居住地的超市購買相同商品，並全部換算成人民幣價格結算，主要涉及十九種食品及兩種燃油。

調查結果翌日公布在網誌上，隨即被各地網民瘋狂轉載。王佩坦言調查方法有紕漏，但慨嘆已夠「觸目驚心」。

大學旁樓價亦較貴
調查顯示，杭州牛腩價格每斤四十五元，是波士頓的兩倍；杭州一打雞蛋售十六元九角，是波士頓的兩倍多；杭州一公升全脂牛奶的價格為十一元五毫，幾乎是波士頓的三倍。而兩地蔬果類價格各有高低，大米、豆腐、青菜等食品則是杭州較便宜。另外，杭州兩款汽油及柴油價格均略高於波士頓。

除食品開支外，內地網民「北京廚子」以樓價作比較，發現杭州樓價亦超過波士頓。他列出位於杭州浙江大學對面的公寓，面積八十九平方米，售價三百五十萬元人民幣；波士頓哈佛大學對面九十九平方米住宅，售價約為二百七十五萬元人民幣。

年人均收入差逾18萬
據杭州市政府統計，杭州去年人均收入為二萬六千八百六十四元人民幣。而波士頓去年人均收入為三萬二千二百五十五美元（約廿一萬四千元人民幣）。連美國媒體也轉載有關調查，有旅居中國多年的美國人認為：「中國的中產階級無疑過着節儉生活，未來還可能更節儉。」

其實，類似民間物價調查近期湧現，並因貼近生活紛紛獲熱捧。一名留學美國的中國學生在天涯論壇發帖稱：「行走在美國的超市裏，我的內心充滿憂傷。」因國內所謂名牌商品，在美國卻以內地幾分之一，甚至十幾分之一的低價出售，他為國人捱無理高物價感憤怒。有轉載該帖的網民附加評論：「從小就聽說資本主義社會是萬惡的，現在我寧願到『惡人谷』去生活。」

China's true concern is not LXB or any other sh_t. If they can't sustain a reasonable pace of economic growth and inflation, then they are in serious serious trouble.

To a very large extent, Chinese citizens are only putting up with all the shxt that they see because of the rapid economic growth. The moment the economy slows down, and inflation starts to lose control, the very survival of Grandfather's regime will be at risk.

Think back to 20+ years ago in the lead up to 89.6.4. Out of control inflation was one of the major reasons why the discontent / protests started.

Any country that cannot sustain economic growth is in trouble. Just look at the US, Japan and Canada which depend on printing large amounts of money and racking up large amounts of debt.

Bankruptcy in countries like UK, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The US government QE2, QE3 etc is now creating inflation which will lead to instability in the US regime soon.

The Chinese government has yet to implement property tax and capital gains tax which will effectively cool the real estate market.
