Jacob and Emma were the most popular baby names for Canadian newborns who burst into the world in 2010, reports Today's Parent magazine.
Rounding up the top five boy names were Nathan in second place, followed by Ethan, Alexander/Alexandre and Liam.
As for the girls, Olivia took the second spot, followed by Maya/Mia/Mya, Emile/Emily and Sarah/Sara.
Looking back to 2009, the most popular girl names were Olivia, Emma and Sophia, and the top boy names were Ethan, Liam and Jacob. |
