1. Always have snow brush in your car.
2. Leave earlier.

Sometimes garage doors/electrical gates will not operate due to freezin temp (-5 or lower)...I keep my garage door open (or I park my car at the carport) so the car won't get stranded. I rather clean the snow off my car then wait 20 minutes for the bus!
