0 VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - RCMP are investigating the discovery of a woman's body on a trail near the Coquitlam River.
Staff Sergeant Steve Hegedus says some bikers discovered the body off a trail today just after noon.
He says it's too early to link the body to 75-year-old Donna Rasmussen who disappeared in the area on Tuesday.
"We don't know the identity of the person right now, and I can't speak to the identity yet."
He is not giving any details on the cause of death. An autopsy will likely be done on Monday or Tuesday.
