騷亂發生後，有網友在facebook發起「人肉搜索」暴徒的行動，鼓勵網友將騷亂圖片放上網頁，一起找出參與燒打砸搶等行為的人。其中有張被網友瘋傳的照片顯示一名華裔少年舉著冰球棍站在滿地可銀行(BMO)被打得粉碎的玻璃前狂吼，有網友留言指出，該生就讀於列市某間中學，現已被捕。

網站創建者指，網站目的是為了顯示騷亂景象「並非真實溫哥華」，鼓勵網友上傳當晚照片，「人肉搜索」暴徒身分，並向警方指認，該網站甫一推出，即獲臉書上近十萬人支持。

其中一張廣為流傳的照片為《路透社》所攝，被國際傳媒廣泛引用，圖中顯示一名華裔少年在被打得粉碎的玻璃前狂吼，網友指相中人昨日已遭警方逮捕，並稱「人肉搜索」得到成效，大家應繼續努力，但亦有不少人留言辱罵相中少年，稱他應被投入監獄，並有涉及種族歧視言論。

是是但但啦。佢都係想fit in啫。個出法點都係想被認同和接納。好多小朋友都會係咁諗。越係出位即係話佢內心有一個空位需要做啲野證明自己。至於會唔會構成種族歧視，我會話我係一個加拿大既小數民族。文化壕溝係有，仲係好闊好深好長。如果唔係我洗乜係度打中文啫。就係我啲中文用係啲西人度係obsolete。現實就係咁。我發夢果陣係有西人同我講廣東話。醒番就掉轉。

i think not only he wants to fit in...but also adrenaline rush...young man at that age, they have no clue why they acted that way during that moment.

yeah, Mr Lik is a good example of those raging youths. But Mr Lik is a cowardly "tram man", as he does not have the courage to burn cars and loot stores.

The guy is so stupid. There were so many other people breaking that bank's window, somehow he was stupid enough to let people take his picture right in front of the bank.
