Child porn bust in Abbotsford
Suspect accused of making and distributing child porn

0 ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) - Abbotsford police have seized more than 20 computers and dozens of hard drives from a man they believe may be making and distributing child porn.
The suspect, who is in his 60's, has seven prior convictions for sex crimes in Canada and has also been charged in the US.
No charges have been laid after this bust, as it will likely take investigators up to a year to go through all of the evidence.
Constable Ian MacDonald with Abbotsford Police says when he was a patrol officer more than a decade ago he was in the man's home investigating another child porn case.
"There were computer monitors that were displaying images, that all I can say were extremely disturbing," MacDonald says. "And certainly he, and those images, have remained in my mind."
